SKOWHEGAN — The Somerset Career & Technical Center conducted its annual induction ceremony for its National Technical Honor Society Chapter on May 14.
Current members and Skowhegan Area High School seniors Allison Coombs, Katelynn Lizotte and Amanda Saucier, welcomed the new members.
The new members include Jasmine Avery, Health Care Careers, Madison Memorial High School; Megan Denno, Digital Graphic Arts, home school; Olivia Hamm, Health Care Careers, Maine Central Institute; Savanna Kandiko, Early Childhood Education, Madison Memorial High School; Arielle Rolfe, Cooperative Education, Maine Central Institute; Samantha Santos, Culinary Arts, Skowhegan Area High School; Emily Shrader, Health Care Careers, Skowhegan Area High School; and Courtney Sprague, Health Care Careers, Maine Central Institute.
Student members are eligible for many college scholarships. The ceremony was attended by family, friends and center faculty.
