AMHERST, Mass. — Brandon M. Boudreault, son of Mark and Sandy Boudreault, of Madison, was given the Howard H. Quint Memorial Prize by Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The prize was established in memory of Professor Howard Quint, former history department chairman and co-founder of the Honors Program, according to a news release. Prize recipients are nominated by their teachers and selected based on academic excellence and dedication to their studies.

Boudreault also is a recipient of the Henry and Jean Hall Humanities and Fine Arts Scholarship and the College of Humanities and Fine Arts Achievement Award.

Boudreault is a member of the UMass Amherst, class of 2014, who pursues a major in English. He is a 2009 graduate of Madison Area Memorial High School.
