WORCESTER, Mass. — Caitlin Bonney recently received a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Massachusetts Worcester during a ceremony held on the medical school campus. She was honored with the Association of Academic Surgery Student Research Award.
Bonney is the daughter of Forrest and Pamela Bonney, of New Sharon, and a 2001 Mount Blue High School graduate. She earned her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Boston University in 2005.
Following graduation, Bonney will serve her residency in surgery at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
