Phillips spray-paint vandal sought by sheriff

PHILLIPS — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the person who spray-painted a barn Thursday.

A barn on High Street with a large American flag painted on the side was tagged with spray paint Thursday, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department. A similar incident occurred in May behind True Value Hardware on Main Street.

The department asks that anyone with information about the vandalism call Deputy Chris Chase at 778-2680.
