WALDOBORO — An 18-year-old Maine man was charged with assaulting a 6-month-old baby.
Tylor Miller of Waldoboro was arrested Saturday afternoon on two counts of felony assault on a child under 6 and other charges for violating conditions of release in an unrelated case.
WCSH-TV said staff at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta called police Wednesday after checking out the infant’s injuries. The baby was later taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Miller was indicted last month on two counts of burglary and theft involving the theft of metal, jewelry and copper from two properties.
It wasn’t clear Sunday if Miller has an attorney.
