AUGUSTA — The Augusta State Airport will get $128,169 for upgrades from the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration.

The money is to remove obstructions from the Runway 35 approach, acquire aviation easements and to update the existing master plan, according to a press release from U.S. Sens. Susan Collins, a Republican, and Angus King, an independent.
