PROVICENCE, R.I. — Police have searched a Providence bar as part of their murder investigation of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.
WJAR-TV reports authorities were looking for surveillance footage at the South Street Cafe, but were unable to locate that video.
The bar’s owner confirmed to the station that his business was involved in the investigation, but declined to comment further.
Hernandez is accused of orchestrating the June 17 execution-style slaying of Odin Lloyd in an industrial park about a mile from the football player’s home in North Attleborough, Mass.
