WINSLOW — Winslow Public Library’s announces the following summer programs:

* Mondays (July/August only), Tuesdays and Wednesdays at noon — United for Individuality: Share an interest/hobby and learn about the unusual interests/hobbies of others in safe and fun setting. Recommended for children entering fourth through 12th grade; all school-aged children welcome.

* Mondays (July/August only), Wednesdays and Thursdays at 3 p.m. — Moviemaking for Writers & Artists: Learn basic aspects of moviemaking in groups or individually, and write and direct own short movie. Recommended for children entering fourth through 12th grade; all school-aged children welcome.

* Mondays (July/August only), Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4 p.m. — Animation: Learn the basics of cartoon animation in Adobe Flash. Also, make your own flipbook. Recommended for children entering fourth through 12th grade; all school-aged children welcome.

* Thursdays at noon — Drawing: Learn to draw from life. Recommended for children entering fourth through 12th grade; all school-aged children welcome.

* Mondays (July/August only), Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:30 p.m. — Games & Puzzles: Play games and do puzzles; all ages.

* Fridays at 10 a.m. — Arts & Crafts: Draw, paint, sculpt and more. Recommended for children entering kindergarten through fifth grade; all school-aged children welcome.

* Mondays (July/Auguar only), 10 a.m. — Mad Libs: Complete goofy stories in this fun word game. Recommended for children entering third through eighth grade; all school-aged children welcome.

* Wednesday, July 17, 10 a.m. — Financial Literacy for Kids: Learn how to manage money and make good spending choices with Joseph Harrison of New Dimensions Credit Union. Recommended for children in elementary school or younger.

* Saturday, July 27, 10:30 a.m. — Attend a Mr. Harley Concert at Fort Halifax Park. Recommended for children in elementary school or younger.

* Thursday, Aug. 22, 6 p.m. — End the summer with a visit from singer/songwriter Martin Swinger. He will conduct a workshop on how to write own song. All ages welcome.
