SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. — An international Hindu group is praising U.S. airports in Burlington and two other cities for hosting recently established yoga studios.

Rajan Zed, president of the Universal Society of Hinduism, cited Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, San Francisco International Airport and Burlington International Airport as three U.S. air facilities that allow passengers a space to do yoga.

Zed says that the exercise and meditation practice, although introduced by Hinduism, is what he called a world heritage and liberation powerhouse to be used by everyone.

The three U.S. airports join others around the world in offering yoga, including airports in Singapore, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Beijing, Munich, Zurich, Vancouver, Tokyo and London.
