WILTON — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding two men wanted on warrants alleging assault against a Wilton man Sunday night with a homemade wooden club.

Kahner Dee, 18, of Jay, and Juan Colon, 23, of Livermore Falls, are wanted for aggravated assault for allegedly attacking a 43-year-old Wilton man with the club during a fight stemming from a drug deal earlier that day, Chief Heidi Wilcox of the Wilton police said in a news release.

A third man involved in the fight, Benjamin York, 18, of Jay, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of aggravated assault, Wilcox said.

Officer Andrew Hardy responded to a call about the fight on Main Street at 8:05 p.m. Sunday.

Wilcox said Hardy found an unconscious man from Wilton in the road bleeding from the head, and he was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. Wilcox said he underwent surgery and was released the next day.

Witnesses in the area who went to help the injured man said three men left in a green sport utility vehicle.

The attack started with an illegal drug deal earlier in the day in Jay that escalated to a terrorizing incident there, Wilcox said.

Wilcox said the three men involved in the Jay incident chased the Wilton man and confronted him in front of his home.
