Brunswick police and fire officials responded Saturday morning to a fatal motorcycle crash on the Bath Road in Brunswick near Maine Mattress and Futon, a town news release said.
The crash involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck, police said.
The driver of the 2001 Honda CBR929 motorcycle, 45-year-old Monmouth resident David Lamontagne, was transported to Midcoast Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The 2003 Ford F-250 pickup truck driver, 78-year-old Roger Reid, of Harpswell, was uninjured in the collision, the release said.
The crash is under investigation by the Brunswick Police Department and Collision Reconstruction Unit, it said.
