Writing letters to the editor about our governor seems to be a lesson in futility. After all, he won’t talk to MaineToday Media, so I assume he doesn’t read the Morning Sentinel or Kennebec Journal, but here goes anyway.

The definition of insanity is “Doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.”

Gov. Paul LePage keeps making stupid remarks over and over again, but when he is called out on them he blames reporters, particularly MaineToday Media (Portland Press Herald, Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel).

LePage’s latest gaffe (trying to bully Sen. Troy Jackson to go back to the woods) was a perfect example of his dictatorial style. Apparently he thinks he can run the state like he ran Marden’s.

Marden’s is a fine store, and employees I have talked with say LePage was a bully.

I have studied the look in his eyes when he is talking to the reporters on TV and there is definitely something in his personality that I find very disturbing, especially when he is having one of his temper tantrums.

His tea party fans all seem to have that same “my way or no way” attitude. He has been an embarrassment to the sate of Maine, and I am glad he only has a little more time left in his term. Hopefully, the people will see to it that he is voted out of office. I just hope he doesn’t do too much more damage to our state.
