President Barack Obama’s trip to Africa will cost the American taxpayers between $60 million and $100 million, according to The Washington Post. Obama wants Africa to improve its middle class and has promised $9 billion (to Africa) to work on power blackouts?

America’s middle class is rapidly disappearing. Louisiana and New Jersey are still reeling from hurricanes. Many still have no place to call home as members of our do-nothing Congress play footsie with the dollars that were promised.

No other country has promised dollars to help hurricane sufferers in America.

America’s infrastructure is falling apart; most Americans struggle to stay even. Our leader promises billions to other countries while he lets the voters of this country suffer. No one in our government has any idea how Joe Citizen is struggling (and couldn’t care less).

Charity should start at home.
