If the nation’s new health care program is real, all the mentally ill we now lock up in our jails should be transferred to mental health hospitals for proper treatment.
The additional cost has prevented us from treating these adults with no insurance and/or who commit crimes because of their mental illness.
My hats off to the federal government if our mentally ill criminals get the medical help they really need.
