WASHINGTON — The Washington Library Association will hold a party to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the opening of the Gibbs Library at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the library, 40 Old Union Road.

There will be a reception on the library’s lawn and new patio with music provided by the rock and blues band All Stove Up. All current and former library officers, trustees, volunteers, donors and friends of the library are welcome. Refreshments will be served. An auction beginning at 6:30 p.m. will include a website design package, carved wooden loon, ski lift tickets, a cord of split wood, gift certificates and more. Elijah Ocean will provide music.

The library’s ongoing silent auction will conclude at the end of the evening. The silent auction features original work by local artists.
