MOUNT VERNON — A fair for senior residents of Fayette, Vienna and Mount Vernon will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mount Vernon Community Center and Fire House.
Participating organizations include MaineGeneral Health, Healthy Communities of the Capital Area, Maine Oral Health Program, Maine Center for Disease Control, Public Health Nursing, Mount Vernon Rescue, Spectrum Generations, AARP, Maranacook Local Food Buying Club, and Mount Vernon Food Bank, who will have information about their health and wellness programs. Participants can also self-evaluate their driving abilities through AAA or apply for fuel assistance with Kennebec Valley Community Action Program.
There is no cost. Refreshments will be served. Senior residents and their family members are welcome. For more information, call 293-2582 or email scwright@fairpoint.net.
