GARDINER — Nickyia Lovely scored two goals to lead Gardiner to a 5-1 win against Brewer in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B field hockey game Thursday.

Madeline Reny, Lily Chepke and Abby Dyer added goals while Nicole Chadwick had two assists and Ellen Kelley and Dyer one apiece. Amy Vallance scored for Brewer, assisted by Cassy Green.

Brooke Richards made 15 saves in goal for Brewer (2-3-0) while Emalee Couture had two for Gardiner (5-2-0).

Messalonskee 3, Oxford Hills 0: Emily Hogan scored two goals to lead the Eagles to the KVAC Class A win in Oakland. Erin Field added a goal for Messalonskee (6-1-0) while Mikayla Turner and Brooke Quirion notched assists.

Caroline Feeny made eight saves for Oxford Hills (5-1-0) while Abby Roberts had three for Messalonskee.

Waterville 2, Maranacook 1: Sara Sack and Gaby Bridger both scored first-half goals as the Panthers rallied to beat the Black Bears in a KVAC B game in Readfield.

Lendsay Jackson scored early in the first half to give Maranacook (1-4-0) a 1-0 lead. Sack scored about 10 minutes later and Bridger scored with 45 seconds left in the first to give Waterville (3-2-0) the lead.

Rachael Bergeron had 11 saves for Waterville, while Brianna Goetz had 19 saves for Maranacook.

Skowhegan 10, Cony 0: Brooke Michonski scored three goals, while Renee Wright, Logan LeBlanc and Allison Lancaster scored two apiece. Lauren LeBlanc added a goal while Lancaster and Rylie Blanchet had two assists and Wright, Logan LeBlanc, Mikayla Toth, Michonski and Cassidy Clement had one each.

Leah Kruse made four saves in goal for Skowhegan (7-0-0) while Lindsey Lapierre had 22 for Cony (3-3-0). The win was the 64th straight for Skowhegan, a new state record.

Messalonskee 6, Hampden 0: Kassi Michaud had two goals as the Eagles beat the Broncos on Tuesday.

Ally Corbett, Nathalie St. Pierre and Brooke Quirion also scored for Messalonskee, while Emily Hogan had a goal and two assists.

Boys soccer

Buckfield 1, Richmond 0: Jon Randolph scored with a minute left as the Bucks beat the Bobcats in Buckfield.

Calvin Downey stopped 19 shots for Buckfield (4-1-0), while Dustin Sullivan had 12 saves for Richmond (4-1-0).

MCI 1, Gardiner 0: Slade Emery curled in a corner kick with 16:25 left in the second half as the Huskies beat the Tigers in a KVAC B game in Gardiner.

Charles Moriaty had eight saves for MCI (1-4-0), while Kenneth Moore had five saves for Gardiner (1-4-1).

Richmond 3, Buckfield 2: The Bobcats scored twice in the first half, then added an insurance goal in the second to beat the Bucks in Buckfield.

Chika Obi and Amber Loon scored in the first half to give Richmond (5-1-0) a 2-0 lead. Meranda Martin scored in the second half to make it a three-goal advantage. Kalah Patterson and Loon each added an assist, while Kelsie Obi had five saves.

Naudia Wesley scored twice in the second half to bring Buckfield (4-2-0) within one. Arrabine Dunn had 17 saves.

Monmouth 2, Dirigo 1: Sidney Wilson and Haley Fletcher scored first-half goals to led the Mustangs to the Mountain Valley win in Dixfield.

Sabrima Daoud scored for the Cougars, assisted by Megan Bradbury. Mariah LaFleur made eight saves in goal for Dirigo (2-1-0) while Mikayla Cameron made 10 for Monmouth (4-1-0).

Madison 1, Hall-Dale 0: Sophomore Kayla Bess scored early in the game and goalkeeper Savanna Kandiko made 21 saves to make that lead hold up as host Madison came away with the MVC victory.

Kirsten Wood assisted on the goal from Bess. Olivia Maynard made 10 saves for Hall-Dale (3-1-0). Madison is 4-0-1.
