OAKLAND — Three different players scored to lead the Messalonskee girls soccer team to its first win in two years Tuesday,  a 3-0 win against Brewer in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference soccer game.

Kaitlin Eschenbrenner, Kassidi McPherson and McKenna Brodeau scored goals while Taylor Lenentine contributed an assist. Taylor Easler made nine saves in goal for Messalonskee (1-4-0) while Mikayla Henderson and Ellie Leighton combined for 18 saves for Brewer (1-4-1).

Waterville 2, Winslow 0:
Jayme Saulter and Colleen O’Donnell scored second-half goals to  lift the Purple Panthers to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win in Winslow. Both goals were unassisted. Saulter scored on a redirected kick off a loose ball and O’Donnell scored on a direct kick.
Hillary Libya made 16 saves for Winslow (3-2-0) while Photon Saints was required to make a save for Waterville (7-0-0).

Maranacook 2, Erskine 0:
Sophomore Lindsey Perkins scored two goals off direct kicks to give the Black Bears the win in Readfield.

Liz D’Angelo made nine saves for the Black Bears (2-2-2).

Cassandra Ray also stopped nine shots for Erskine (4-2-0).

Bangor 4, Lawrence 2:
Mary Butler scored three goals to lead the Rams to the KVAC Class A win in Fairfield. Ally Boulier added a goal for the winners while Mikayla Bean scored both goals for Lawrence and Melissa Paquette contributed an assist. Paige Belanger made 10 saves for Lawrence (2-3-1) while Emily Gilmore stopped three shots for Bangor (5-0-0).

Mt. Blue 5, Lewiston 0:
Eryn Doiron scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Cougars to the KVAC Class A win in Farmington. Miranda Nicely added two goals and assist for Mt. Blue while Savannah Swan had an assist. Thia Bridges made 16 saves and Addie Schanz one for Mt. Blue (3-30) while Kelsey Cyr had 20 for Lewiston (0-4-1).

Hampden 8, Skowhegan 4: Aubra Linn scored three goals to lead the Broncos to the KVAC Class A win in Skowhegan. Abby Lord added two goals for the winners while Christina Caggiano, Kaitlyn Theriault, Michaela Lewia and Tracey Swanson scored for the Indians. Rebekah Boomer and Morgan Buker notched assists for Skowhegan.

Sami Bowler made five saves for Hampden (3-1-1) while Andrea Quirion and Shawna Quimby combined for 10 for Skowhegan (0-6-0).

Field hockey

Mt. View 1, Oceanside 0: Mykenna Grotton scored with 11 minutes left in the second half as the Mustangs defeated the Mariners in Thorndike.

Kersey Boulay assisted on Grotton’s goal as Mt. View improved to 5-3. Dinah Bilodeau had three saves for the shutout.

Zoe Billington made 14 saves for Oceanside (6-2).

Nokomis 2, Maranacook 0: After a scoreless first half, the Warriors scored twice after the break to defeat the Black Bears in Readfield.

Drew Graves scored the game-winner off a pass from Lindsay Whitney with 24:40 left in the game. Whitney added an unassisted goal for Nokomis (8-0) with 5:15 to play.

Kendra Underhill had two saves for the Warriors. Bri Goetz made 19 stops for Maranacook (1-6).

Skowhegan 11, Lewiston 0: Allison Lancaster scored four goals to lead the host Indians to the KVAC Class A win. Brooke Michonski and Rylie Blanchet each added two goals and an assist while Logan LeBlanc, Renee Wright, Lauren LeBlanc and Mikayla Toth scored a goal each. Leah Kruse didn’t finish with a save for Skowhegan (8-0-0) while Kaylyn Labonte made 26 for Lewiston (2-5-0).

Messalonskee 12, Brunswick 0: Twelve different players scored to lead the Eagles to the KVAC Class A win in Brunswick. Emily Hogan, Mikayla Turner, Nathalie St. Pierre, Kylee Knight, Ally Corbett, Erin Field, Ally Leighton, Cara Balboni, Kate Levesque, Kristen Kern, Ashley Pelotte and Kassi Michaud while Turner and Lydia Dexter registered assists. Abby Roberts made one save in goal for Messalonskee (7-1-0) while Anna Webster made 19 for Brunswick (1-7-0).

Lawrence 5, Bangor 0: Dominique Lewis scored three goals to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC Class A win in Fairfield. Lauren Watson and McKenna Rogers added goals for Lawrence while Rogers and Kapriece Dahms had assists. Emily Tozier made two saves for Lawrence while Rachel Luc made 17 for Bangor (1-5-1).

Boys soccer

Messalonskee 3, Brewer 1:
Quinn Warren had a goal and an assist to lead the visiting Eagles to their first win of the season in KVAC A play.

Juan Cardona and Todd Field also scored for Messalonskee (1-3-1). Brandon Nale and Ryan Erskine chipped in with an assist each. Jonah Webb made six saves.

Gehrig White scored off an assist from Jameson Rhoads-Doyle for Brewer (1-4-0). Caleb Eggert made 15 saves.

Men’s college soccer

Colby 3, USM 0: Chris Pratt, Keith Chernin, and Yinka Onayemi all scored their first goals of the season in lifting the Colby College men’s soccer team to a 3-0 non-conference victory over University of Southern Maine on Tuesday in Waterville.

Colby moves to 2-3 overall, while the Huskies drop to 0-8-1.
