RUMFORD — Madeline Wood scored with 13:41 left in regulation to give the Madison girls soccer team a 2-1 win over Mountain Valley in a Mountain Valley Conference game.

Kirsten Wood scored from Madeline Wood with 39 seconds left in the first half to give the Bulldogs (5-0-1) a 1-0 lead. Kaite Puiia tied it midway through the second half for the Falcons (1-5-0). Kirsten Wood also had an assist on the game-winner.

Savanna Kandiko had eight saves for Madison, while Karen Flaherty had seven saves for Mountain Valley.

Messalonskee 5, Lawrence 3: Kassadi McPherson had a hat trick and McKenna Brodeur added two goals to give the Eagles their second consecutive win, beating the Bulldogs in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game in Oakland.

Taylor Easler had 15 saves for Messalonskee (2-4).

Marissa Paquette led Lawrence (2-4-1) with two goals, while Taylor Martin added a goal. Paige Belanger had 13 saves for the Bulldogs.

Lisbon 3, Mt. Abram 1: Three different players scored as the Greyhounds beat the Roadrunners in an MVC game in Lisbon.

Kailyn Hill, Paige Galligan and Jennah Clifford all scored for Lisbon (4-2-0). Renee Samay-Houle added an assist and Alexandra Sult had two saves.

Elise Luce scored an unassisted goal for Mt. Abram (4-3-0). Allison Lopez had 10 saves.

Mt. View 0, Lincoln 0, 2OT:
Tori Strain and Logan Basford combined to make eight saves as the Mustangs tied the Eagles on Tuesday.

Miranda Achorn had four saves for Lincoln.

Boys soccer

Mt. View 2, Lincoln Academy 2, 2OT: Sawyer Pinkham scored two second-half goals as the Eagles rallied to tie the Mustangs in a KVAC B game Tuesday in Newcastle.

Gavin Simpson scored in the first half and Kyle Crowell in the second half as Mt. View took a 2-0 lead. Mikey Hustus had eight saves for the Mustangs.

Wally Morris stopped six shots for Lincoln Academy.

Messalonskee 2, Lawrence 1:
Brandon Nale and Ryan Erskine each scored goals to lead the Eagles past the Bulldogs in a KVAC A game in Fairfield.

Jonah Webb made three saves for Messalonskee (2-3-1).

Nick Blomerth scored the lone goal for Lawrence (2-4-0). Zach Alley made 12 saves.

Men’s soccer

St. Joseph’s 3, UM-Farmington 0: Kyle Shangraw scored on a pair of penalty kicks in the first half as the Monks earned their sixth-consecutive win, beating the Beavers in Standish.

Joe Muphry added a goal for St. Joseph’s.

Derek Reilly had four saves for UMF.
