WATERVILLE — Our Hearts Foundation’s second annual 5k Run/Walk, a department of the Waterville Area Women’s Club, in partnership with Hospice Volunteers of the Waterville Area, is planned for 9 a.m. Saturday at Inland Hospital.
Last year’s inaugural 5K had 166 participants helped raise $2,000 and three families.
The Foundation assists families who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, still birth or infant loss through one year of age. They provide funding for memorial and funeral expenses, and they offer support groups.
