BANGOR — Skowhegan graduate Liz Noddin and Nokomis grad Taylor Lovley each scored a pair of goals to lead Husson University to a 4-1 win against the University of Maine at Farmington in a North Atlantic Conference field hockey game Sunday.

Lovley and Noddin each added an assist along with Nokomis graduate Sabrina Vaillancourt. Gardiner grad Kashley Weymouth scored for the Beavers. Curran Brierley made four saves in goal for UMF (6-5 overall, 5-2 NAC) while Maicee Gustin made 17 for Husson (9-5, 6-1).

Yale 4, Maine 3, OT: Nicole Wells score din overtime to lift the Bulldogs to the non-conference  win in Orono. Annabelle Hamilton and Holly Stewart each had a  goal and an assist for Maine while Cassidy Svetek. Skowhegan grad Nicole Sevey and Gardiner graduate Becca Paradee also recorded assists for Maine.

Natasha Ford made eight saves for Maine (9-7) while Heather Schleiser made 15 for Yale (6-7).

Crew

The Colby women finished 19th and the men 34th in collegiate B racing at the Head of the Charles Regatta on  Sunday in Cambridge, Mass. The women had a time of 19:39.111 and were in a field of 25 boats. Eliza Gesten (coxswain), Becca Herman (stroke), Sarah Kate Lane-Reticker (7), Katie Chicojay (6), Sophie Suechting (5), Annalisa Tester (4), Emma Brown (3), Erica Lehner (2), and Olivia Collins (bow) made up the crew.

The men finished in a time of 17 minutes, 14.437 seconds in a field of 40 boats. Sylvia Xu (coxswain), Ryan Newell (stroke), Tim Dutton (7), Ian Tibbetts (6), Charlie Leeds (5), Cole Stevens (4), Drew Kelly (3), Clint Ross (2), and Dan Meyer (bow) were in the boat for Colby.
