AUGUSTA — Gov. Paul LePage and his wife are serving up refreshments and giving short tours of the Blaine House for the third straight week as part of a food drive to help needy Mainers put food on the table.
People are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to the governor’s residence between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The event marks the end of the three-week drive during which the governor and his wife have opened up the Blaine House to collect food. The donated food is being given to the Good Shepherd Food Bank.
