Oct. 17: Police responded to a report of a burglary on Chase Road. The homeowner said they were gone for six hours and returned to find doors in the garage and house kicked in. The thieves reportedly took a flat-screen television, a digital camera and $14,000 in jewelry. The investigation is ongoing.
Oct. 20: Police responded to a car burglary in progress on Plains Road. The homeowner said she looked out her home’s window to see a man rummaging through the car. He ran off without taking anything. Police searched the area but uncovered no additional burglaries. The caller told police her car had been unlocked.

Oct. 22: A 40-year-old man was charged with failure to wear a seat belt and failure to provide proof of insurance during a traffic stop.
A 22-year-old man was charged with possession of a usable amount of marijuana during a traffic stop for license plate violation on Interstate 295.
Wednesday: A 41-year-old man was charged with operating after suspension and failure to secure his 3-year-old child during a traffic stop for a license plate violation on Interstate 295.
A 21-year-old man was charged with possession of a usable amount of marijuana during a traffic stop for a license plate violation on Interstate 295.
Thursday: A 44-year-old man was charged with operating without a license during a traffic stop on Interstate 295.

Arrests
Friday, in Augusta, at 7:50 p.m., Christopher Paul Lord, 39, of Augusta, was arrested on a warrant at the Kennebec County jail on State Street.
In Gardiner, at 1:40 p.m., Meredith M. Prugh, 32, of Gardiner, was arrested on a warrant on Church Street.
Oct. 15, in Richmond, at 10:21 p.m., Sean Barker, 27, of Richmond, was arrested on a warrant charging domestic assault and criminal threatening on Langdon Road.
Oct. 20, at 7:30 p.m., Michael Stone, 44, of Clinton, was arrested on charges of operating after suspension and operating a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker during a traffic stop on Main Street. Stone also was charged with possession of scheduled drugs after police reportedly found more than a pound of marijuana in the vehicle.
Sunday, in Rome, Jonathan Oxton, 20, was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release by police responding to a report of an underage drinking party on Rome Road. Two other people, including the homeowner, were charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wednesday, in West Gardiner, Patrick Murchison, 52, of Lewiston, was arrested on a warrant and charged with operating after suspension during a traffic stop for a seat belt violation on Route 126.
