I believe most of us agree that it’s time for a change of Congress in Washington. If we look closer to home here in Augusta, I believe it also would be constructive to elect a fresh new candidate to our City Council. Tom Connors has a real basic interest and is a native son. His wife is a schoolteacher, and they have two children in the Augusta schools.
Regardless of whether we are satisfied with our current Council, a change is always positive. The political pencil sharpener becomes dull after a few years. I urge others, especially younger voters, to brighten their future in Augusta and elect Connors to a City Council at-large seat.
