I worked with George Lapointe for four years when he was the commissioner of the state Department of Marine Resources, and I know the important skills and attitudes he will bring to the position of city councilor in Hallowell. He is thoughtful, balanced and focused on what is important about any job he does.
He is a problem-solver who has been successful working to bring people with widely divergent views together around common-sense solutions. We in Hallowell face a number of challenging situations and need a person with George’s skills to help us make the decisions that will best serve our citizens and our community for the long term. I urge my fellow residents to support George on Election Day. I know he will make us proud.
