My wife was hit by a car while walking. She is alive, but facing weeks of rehabilitation and therapy.

I’d like thank the off-duty EMT who stopped to help, the woman who called 911, the on-duty EMTs, police and the emergency room team at Inland Hospital that stabilized her.

The outpouring of flowers, cards, calls and visitors has been amazing.

I also want to thank the mystery people who stacked my wood.

Maxine is home now, and the thoughtful folks around us continue to bring in food and their best wishes.
