MADISON — Carla Dillon-Jones, of Highland Plantation, recently took her oath of membership in the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution with her daughter Heidi Atwood by her side. It was a dream that was a long time coming for Dillon-Jones who had first attempted to join about 20 years ago. For some reason now long forgotten, the National Society did not approve her first application. However, this time, with a newly prepared application submitted by the Eunice Farnsworth-Ruth Heald Cragin Chapter registrar Kathy Palmer, the application approval went very quickly.
