Arrests

Thursday: At 2:33 a.m., Brelyn Lafreniere, 25, of Augusta, was arrested in Augusta on a charge of domestic-violence assault by police responding to a report of disorderly conduct on Davenport Street.

4:38 a.m., Mark Christopher Evans, 32, of Rome, was arrested in Augusta on a charge of assault and violating conditions of release at MaineGeneral Medical Center on Medical Center Parkway. Evans reportedly was involved in a crash that caused injury on Eastern Avenue in Chelsea a little more than two hours earlier.
