Democrat Shenna Bellows is running for the U.S. Senate.

I have met this passionate, caring woman and heard her reasons for wanting to be our next senator. Energetic, honest and hard-working, Shenna believes that coalitions are the way to get things done and has proven it during her eight years as executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Maine. She built coalitions with Republicans and Democrats to pass ground-breaking laws including legalizing same-sex marriage, restoring same-day voter registration, requiring warrants for access to cellphone communications, and she led the opposition to warrantless drone surveillance.

Bellows knows what it means to repay student loans, and would work to lessen the burden of high interest on student loans.
