MADISON — Ty Cowan scored a game-high 24 points to help lead the Bulldogs to a 61-57 win over the Wolverines in Madison.

Chase Malloy scored 11 points, while Chris Hayden added nine points for Madison (2-1).

Jennings Souza led Wiscasset (2-1) with 13 points.

MT. VIEW 60, NOKOMIS 52: Brody Gibbs scored 19 points and Jack Simpson added 18 as the Mustangs beat the Warriors on Tuesday.

Andrew Cartwright scored a game-high 23 points for Nokomis. Jacob Winslow added 11 for the Warriors.

MESSALONSKEE 81, BREWER 48: Nick Mayo had a triple-double with 11 points, 15 rebounds and 10 blocks as the Eagles earned the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win in Oakland.

Jordon Holmes scored a game-high 23 points for Messalonskee (1-1) while Jordan Carson added 16 points and Eric Van Der Karr had 12.

Brewer (0-2) was led by Logan Rogerson with 16 points and Zach Gaulesin with 12.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

MESSALONSKEE 47, BREWER 30: Mikayla Turner had 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Oakland.

Kelsey Mayo scored a game-high 16 points for Messalonskee (2-0) while Sophie Holmes added 10.

Brewer (0-2) ws led by Madison Burch with 10 points.

CARRABEC 48, HALL-DALE 25: Emma Pluntke scored 18 points to lead the Cobras to a win over the Bulldogs in a Mountain Valley Conference game in North Anson.

Kate Stevens and Macy Welch each added eight points for Carrabec (2-0).

Nicole Pelletier led Hall-Dale (1-1) with 10 points. Eva Shepherd added seven points for the Bulldogs.

MADISON 46, WISCASSET 28: The Bulldogs stretched a three-point halftime lead to 13 by the end of the third quarter as they picked up the MVC win in Madison.

Bronte Elias led Madison (2-1) with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Alex Jarvais and Kirsten Wood each chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.

Tylan Onorato led Wiscasset (0-2) with seven points.

VALLEY 32, GREENVILLE 20: On Tuesday, the Cavaliers blanked the Lakers in the first quarter and went on to the win in Greenville.

Teagan Laweryson and Hallie Miller each had nine points for Valley (2-0). Courtney Mann scored eight for Greenville (0-1).
