EMBDEN — Nomination papers are available from the Town Clerk and must be returned by Jan. 15, 2014, in order to be placed on the ballot for the March 1, 2014, town meeting. The following positions are up for election: selectman — three-year term; assessor — three-year term; town clerk/treasurer — one-year term; tax collector — one-year term, road commissioner — one-year term; Regional School Unit 74 school board director— three-year term: and RSU 74 school board director — two-year term.
