TURNER —Seth McFarland had 14 points, six rebounds and five assists to lead the Gardiner boys basketball team to a 57-46 win over Leavitt in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Saturday.

Brad Weston added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Gardiner, which improves to 2-1. Joe Harnett chipped in with 10 points for the Tigers.

Mitchell Davis had 12 points and Zach Goulette 10 for Leavitt (0-3).

MARANACOOK 87, NOKOMIS 81: Cam Brochu had 23 points, 16 rebounds and five steals as the Black Bears beat the Warriors in a KVAC B game in Readfield.

Taylor Wilbur added 30 points, including five 3-pointers for Maranacook (3-1). Caleb Jackson chipped in with 14, including four 3-pointers.

Jake Winslow had 33 points and Andrew Cartwright had 32 for Nokomis (0-3).

OAK HILL 59, TELSTAR 27: Derek Gamage had 13 points and 13 rebounds as the Raiders cruised to an MVC win in Wales.

Luke Washburn added five points and 12 rebounds, while Parker Asselin chipped in nine points for Oak Hill (2-2).

Maverick Griffin had eight points for Telstar (1-3).

GREENVILLE 64, RICHMOND 51: Howie Stone scored a game-high 35 points and Matt De’Angelo added 13 points as the Lakers rolled to the Western D victory Friday night in Greenville.

Stone also had 16 rebounds while Trevor Richards added seven points for Greenville (1-1). Matt Holt led Richmond (2-1) with 10 points.

BOOTHBAY 75, MONMOUTH 41: Jon Hepburn had 29 points and eigth rebounds as the Seahawks beat the Mustangs in an MVC game in Boothbay.

Evan Hepburn added 10 points for Boothbay (2-1).

Marcques Houston had 18 points of Monmouth (2-2).

WINCHENDON 65, KENTS HILL 41: Baris Ulker scored 17 points to lead Green Wave to the New England Prep School Athletic Conference win at Kents Hill. Nigel Hambrea scored 14 points and Isiah Ruffen 13 for Winchendon (5-0). Trevor Guity scored 12 points and Nelkas Kwemo grabbed 10 rebounds for Kents Hill.

Girls basketball

HALL-DALE 40, WISCASSET 24: Dani Sweet had 16 points and five steals as the Bulldogs beat the Wolverines in an MVC game in Farmingdale.

Allison Crockett grabbed 12 rebounds, while Nicole Pelletier chipped in with eight points for Hall-Dale (2-1).

Wiscasset falls to 0-3.

LEAVITT 51, GARDINER 40: Sierra Santomango scored 14 points to lead the Hornets(2-2) to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win in Turner. Kendra Gilbert added 10 points for the winners and along with Chantel Eells grabbed 11 rebounds. Ally Day paced Gardiner (2-1) with 16 points while Camden Cone added 10 rebounds and Lauren Chadwick seven steals.

College Women’s basketball

WENTWORTH 66, UM-FARMINGTON 61: Rachael Camara scored 19 points as the Leopards beat the Beavers in a non-conference game in Boston.

Kendra Kerr added 19 points for WIT (3-5), while Carly Rogers had 11 points and 15 rebounds.

Lindsay Ranquist had 19 points, while Kennadi Grover had 14 points. Holly Oliver chipped in 11 points, 12 rebounds and six assists.

Also Saturday: Madison graduate Dylan Price had 10 points in the Maine Maritime Academy men’s basketball team’s 74-58 loss to Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vt. . . . Skowhegan graduate Cheyenne Malloy scored 17 points as the MMA women’s basketball team beat Green Mountain 87-34 in Poultney, Vt. . . . Cony graduate and St. Joseph’s College senior Mackenzie Dufour scored 15 points and had three assists in a 69-57 win against Framingham State.
