RUMFORD — Nicole Pelletier scored all 10 of her points in the second half to lead Hall-Dale past Mountain Valley 39-33 in a Mountain Valley Conference girls basketball game Wednesday.

Pelletier also had six rebounds and four assists. Brooke Berberich added eight points for the Bulldogs (3-2).

Shannon Laubauskas led the Falcons (3-2) with 10 points.

Gardiner 49, Morse 38: Ally Day had nine points and 15 rebounds to lead the host Tigers to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win.

Freshman Lauren Chadwick added 11 points while Camden Cone grabbed 10 rebounds for Gardiner (3-1). Rachel Quirion and Abby Dunn each chipped in with eight points.

Morse (1-3) was led by Signe Ostergaard with 10 points.

Boys basketball

HALL-DALE 47, MADISON 38: Hall-Dale held Madison to 19 points in the first three quarters en route to the MVC win in Farmingdale. Brian Allen led the winners with 17 points and eight rebounds while Ryan Sinclair and Wesley Lapointe scored nine points apiece and Nat Crocker handed out six assists. Derek LeBlanc led Madison (3-2) with 13 points. Hall-Dale is 3-1.

Richmond 56, Pine Tree Academy 29: Mike Stewart scored 14 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and had five steals to lead the Bobcats to an East/West win in Freeport.

Sean Bernier scored 15 points for Richmond (3-2), while Bailey Johansen added four points and had 10 rebounds.

JP Tashamala scored 14 points for Pine Tree (2-2).

Winthrop 60, Telstar 30: Jake Hickey scored 14 points and the Ramblers cruised to an MVC win in Winthrop.

Dakota Carter added eight points, nine rebounds and four steals for Winthrop (3-2), while Taylor Morang added seven points, seven steals and two assists.

Mike Doherty and Bronson Deane each had nine points for Telstar (1-4).

MORSE 44, GARDINER 43: Three players scored in double figures for the Shipbuilders, who held on down the stretch to beat the Tigers in a KVAC B game in Bath.

Jacob Freeman, Ethan Winglass and Liam McDonough each had 11 points for Morse (5-0).

Seth McFarland had 14 points, Joe Harnett 11 and Brad Weston six points and eight rebounds for Gardiner (2-2).

CAMDEN HILLS 74, MARANACOOK 52: Colin Morse scored 24 points to lead the Windjammers to the KVAC Class B win in Readfield.

Chandler Crans added 15 points for Camden Hills (4-1) which led 44-25 at the half. Taylor Wilbur led Maranacook (3-2) with 27 points while teammate Cam Brochu scored 14.
