FARMINGTON — The Farmington Warming Center will resume for it’s fifth season and open every Tuesday and Thursday through January and February, and Tuesday only through March. Hours are 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 7, 14, 21, 28 and Feb. 4, at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church, 110 Academy St. For more information, call 778-2168.

On Tuesdays, Feb. 18, 25 and March 4, 11, 18, 25, the warming center will be open at St. Joseph’s Parish, 133 Middle St.

Thursdays, the warming center will be open 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Jan. 9 through Feb. 27, at Old South Congregational Church, 227 Main St.

Come for coffee and conversation, to make a puzzle, or play a game.

At noon, soup and dessert will be provided by volunteers; donations are accepted. Proceeds from = donations will benefit the enrichment of this program. A 24-hour advanced notice for a meal is appreciated; call 778-2163.

Volunteers are welcome, and if you have a talent to share, please offer. The program is not equipped to supervise childcare or adult daycare. Public transportation is available for a small fee by calling in advance to the Western Mountain Transportation Services at 800-393-9335.

For weather-related cancellations, listen to WKTJ-FM 99.3. If schools are canceled, the warming center will be closed.
