RANGELEY — Kori Coro scored 28 points and the Forest Hills girls basketball team beat Rangeley 60-54 in a battle of unbeaten East/West Conference teams Friday night.

Anna Carrier added 14 points for Forest Hills, which rallied from a seven-point deficit after the first quarter, to improve to 12-0.

Seve Deery-DeRaps scored 20 points, while Blayke Morin had 19 points and seven rebounds for Rangeley (10-1). Taylor Esty had nine points and eight rebounds for the Lakers.

NOKOMIS 36, WATERVILLE 33: Kelsie Richards had 10 points as the Warriors ran their record to 12-0 by hanging on to the beat the Panthers in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game in Newport.

Nokomis outscored Waterville (6-5) 18-6 in the second quarter to pull away, but managed just seven points in the second half. Anna Mckzenzie added and Taylor Shaw each added nine points.

Colleen O’Donnell had 12 points and Fotini Shanos added 10 for Waterville.

LAWRENCE 48, CONY 31: Paige Belanger had 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC A win in Fairfield.

Nia Irving added nine points and 15 rebounds for Lawrence (11-1).

Cony (8-5) was led by Bayleigh Logan with 10 points and Abby Wormel with eight.

Boys basketball

MONMOUTH 57, MADISON 35: Bradon Goff and Marcques Houston each had 12 points as the Mustangs beat the Bulldogs in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Monmouth.

Hunter Richardson added eight points Monmouth (7-5).

Chase Malloy had eight points for Madison (5-7).

EDWARD LITTLE 59, Skowhegan 46: Lew Jensen scored 19 points as the Eddies beat the Indians in a KVAC A game in Skowhegan.

Andrew Middleton added 12 points for the Edward LIttle (8-5).

DeQuan Frost had 14 points, Isaac Witham 14 and Eli Holland 10 for Skowhegan (1-10).

OXFORD HILLS 40, MESSALONSKEE 34: Luke Davison had 14 points and five steals as the Vikings beat the Eagles in a KVAC A game in South Paris.

Andrew Fleming added eight points and 14 rebounds for Oxford Hills (8-4).

Nick Mayo had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Messalonskee (8-4).

WATERVILLE 53, NOKOMIS 37: Owen Brown scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Purple Panthers to the KVAC B victory in Waterville.

Justin Jabar had a big night as well, finishing with 18 points, six steals and five assists for Waterville (6-5).

Andrew Cartwright scored a team-high 16 points fot the Warriors (2-12).

HALL-DALE 59, MT. ABRAM 39: Wesley Lapointe had 10 points and 12 rebounds, including eight offensive, to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win in Farmingdale.

Bryson Camp led Hall-Dale (8-5) in scoring with 15 while Brian Allen added 12 points and nine rebounds. Nat Crocker chipped in with nine points and eight assists.

Mt. Abram (1-11) was led by Tristan Dyer with 13 points and Amos Withee with 12.

Valley 81, Buckfield 46: Colin Miller had 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Cavaliers to the East/West Conference win in Buckfield.

Teagan Staples had 12 points and 11 rebounds for Valley (8-3). Jordan Gillespie had 12 points, seven assists and four steals for the Cavs.

Jared Eastman scored 26 points for Buckfield.

BOYS HOCKEY

LAWRENCE/SKOWHEGAN 7, PRESQUE ISLE 6: Trey Michonski scored with 40 seconds left in overtime to lift the Bandits to the victory at the Presque Isle Forum.

Michonski finished with three goals and two assists for Lawrence/Skowhegan (3-4-0), which trailed 6-3 going into the third period.

Chase Whittemore scored two goals while Cody Martin and Nolan DesPres also scored.

Tyler Seally scored two goals and an assist to pace the Wildcats (5-4-1).
