AUGUSTA – Firefighters were at the scene of a reported fire at a residence at 114 Green Street Friday morning.
Firefighters were on the scene past 9:30 a.m., and part of Green Street was blocked off by Augusta Police. The fire was in the area of Cushman and Drew streets.
Damage to the home appeared to be relatively minor.
The fire started in the kitchen, according to emergency radio traffic.
The one-story, single family, 680-square-foot home is owned by Michael Rollins, according to the city’s property assessment database.
