GARDINER — Andrew Cartwright scored 41 points to lead the Nokomis boys basketball team to a 63-59 win over Gardiner on Wednesday night in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game.
Jake Winslow added 10 points for the Warriors (4-12).
Ed Weymouth led Gardiner (10-6) with 24 points. Seth McFarland added 16 points, six rebounds and four assists for the Tigers.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
OXFORD HILLS 41, MT. BLUE 33: Miranda Nicely scored 15 points, but it wasn’t enough for the Cougars, who fell to the Vikings in a KVACA game in South Paris.
Caitlin Kane added eight points for Mt. Blue (7-8).
Anna Winslow led Oxford Hills (11-4) with 15 points.
