AUGUSTA — Arreonte Lee scored 30 points to lead the University of Maine at Augusta past Eastern Maine Community College 83-45 in a Yankee Small College Conference women’s basketball game Tuesday.

Richmond graduate Jamie Plummer added 24 points for UMA (11-8, 8-4) while Courtney Jicks scored 14. Monmouth grad Jenn Lola chipped in with 12.

EMCC (3-15, 2-11) was led by Kara Hebert with 30 points.

USM 55, COLBY 32: Rebecca Knight scored 10 points and Megan Pelletier added nine as the Huskies cruised in a non-conference game in Portland.

Erin McNamara chipped in with seven points for the Huskies (13-6) as well.

Carylanne Wolfington scored a team-high 13 points for the Mules (6-14).

FISHER 52, THOMAS 46: Javanna Bernard scored 18 points and Christine Biggs added 11 to lead Fisher in a non-league game in Waterville.

Fisher led by as many 19 points in the first half and never surrendered the lead.

Posha Grayson chipped in with nine points for Fisher.

Elizabeth Goodall led the Terriers with 16 points and a career-high 13 rebounds.

CMCC 87, UNITY 34: Susie French scored 24 points and Maggie McConkey added 20 to lead host Central Maine Community College.

Jaime Swart scored eight points and Lexi Larsona dded seven for CMCC.

Candace Robinson scored 11 points top pace Unity.

Men’s basketball

EMCC 83, UMA 79: De’Anthony McCormick scored 20 points and Cote Card added 14 to lead EMCC in Augusta. Brett Deniger contributed nine points for EMCC (12-7, 10-5).

Brandon Rogers scored a team-high 23 points for the Moose (5-19. 5-9) while Tevon Erwin had 17.

BATES 71, UMF 61: Graham Safford scored 15 points to lead the Bobcats to the non-conference win in Farmington.

Adam Philpott added 12 points for Bates (11-9).

Pet Sumner scored 16 points to lead the Beavers (8-11) while Nate Carson had 15.

VERMONT 92, MAINE 65: Sandro Carissimo scored 20 points with four 3-pointers and seven assists as Vermont held onto a piece of the conference lead in Burlington, Vt.

Maine battled with the Catamounts (15-9, 9-1 America East) for most of the first half until a 17-4 run — which featured a 3-pointer by Clancy Rugg and two by Carissimo — snapped a tie at 26 and put Vermont up 43-30. Vermont scored 51 by halftime.

Maine (5-17, 3-7) made only four field goals in the final 9:19 of the first half. Zarko Valjarevic led the Black Bears with 19 points, Kilian Cato added 15.

COLBY 63, USM 58: Chris Hudnut scored 20 points and Connor O’Neill added 14 to lead the Mules to the non-conference victory in Portland.

Sam Wilson finished with 11 points for Colby (11-8) as well.

Conor Sullivan had 19 points and Tyler Penney added 14 to pace the Huskies (6-13).

CMCC 108, UNITY 80: Xavier Cobert scored 20 points to lead five Central Maine Community College players into double figures. Shaun Hill added 14 points for the winners while Kazre Cummings scored 12, Luis Medina 11 and Jimy Pina 10. Eddie Kopacz led Unity with 29 points and Jared Straight added 23.
