SKOWHEGAN — Taylor Johnson scored 15 points and Alana Atkinson added 12 to lead the Skowhegan girls basketball team to a 52-49 win over Brewer in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Tuesday night.

Andrea Quirion added 10 points for Skowhegan (10-7) as well.

Maddy Bailey scored 17 ppoints to pace Brewer (2-14).

RANGELEY 73, BUCKFIELD 25: Seve Deery-Deraps and Taylor Esty each scored 18 points to lead the Lakers to the East/West Conference win in Rangeley.

Blayke Morin scored 13 points for Rangeley (16-1), which led 38-11 at the half. Tori Letarte had 11 points, six assists and five steals for the Lakers.

Ashley Campbell led Buckfield (2-15) with 11 points.

MT. BLUE 36, HAMPDEN 35, OT: Miranda Nicely scored 11 points to lead the Cougars to the KVAC A win in Hampden.

Addi Brinkman added seven points for Mt. Blue (8-9). Courtney Dunton paced Hampden (2-15) with eight points.

WATERVILLE 42, MCI 24: Colleen O’Donnell scored 15 points and Jordan Jabar had seven points and 12 rebounds to lead the Purple Panthers to the victory in Waterville.

O’Donnell also had seven steals while Fotini Shanos scored eight points for Waterville (9-8).

Brianna Losee scored eight points to pace MCI (2-16).

FOREST HILLS 83, NORTH HAVEN 37: Kori Coro scored a game-high 23 points and Anna Carrier added 14 as the Tigers cruised at Thomas College.

Dana McNally scored nine points and Haley Cuddy chipped in with eight for Forest hills (18-0).

Maddie Hallowell scored 17 points to lead North Haven (2-15).

ERSKINE 47, LEAVITT 36: Stephanie Doe and Hannah Bridges each scored nine points to lead Erskine to the KVAC B win in South China.

Katie Gamage added eight points and eight rebounds for Erskine (4-13). Mia Taylor led Leavitt (6-11) with eight points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

FOREST HILLS 70, NORTH HAVEN 54: Brandon Ouellette set the school record for career 3-pointers to lead the Tigers to the Class D win at Thomas College in Waterville.

Ouellette, a junior, made three 3-pointers and now has 133 for his career. Ouellette had 15 points in the game. Ryan Petrin had 23 points and 14 rebounds for Forest Hills (16-2), while Matt Turner grabbed 18 boards.

Avery Waterman led North Haven (16-2) with 24 points.

BANGOR 82, LAWRENCE 51: Xavier Lewis scored 30 points and made five 3-pointers to lead Bangor to the KVAC A win.

Alex Campbell added 17 points for Bangor (13-4), which jumped out to a 24-5 first quarter lead.

Walker Thomas led Lawrence (8-9) with eight points.

MADISON 48, MT. ABRAM 27: Derek LeBlanc scored 15 points to lead the Bulldogs to an MVC win over the Roadrunners in Salem.

Mark Linkletter scored seven points for Madison (7-10), while Ty Cowan added six points.

Tristen Dyer led Mt. Abram (2-15) with 10 points. Amos Withee added nine points.
