L.D. 1652 is titled “An Act to Support Solar Energy Development in Maine.”
I know it is hard to prepare for unwanted future while we enjoy current comforts, but I believe the immediate costs of L.D. 1652 should be accepted.
Further use of fuel oil and natural gas will force us to face the low-energy world that we can forestall.
As costs rise with oil and gas being used up, we will slip into life without oil or gas for cars, trucks, airplanes, manufacturing, electric lights, power tools, heating homes, heating places of work, etc.
