The speed limit has been reduced to 45 mph for the full length of the Maine Turnpike due to sleet and snow.
The sleet and light snow are expected to change to rain toward daybreak, according to the National Weather Service in Gray. As the temperatures rise into the mid-30s to lower 40s there will be occasional rain along with areas of fog throughout the day.
