AUGUSTA — Maine Gov. Paul LePage is in Washington for the National Governors Association meeting.
Topics up for discussion on Saturday were education and training initiatives, transportation spending, disaster relief and the future of the National Guard.
Sunday’s topics include prescription drug abuse and employment trends.
On Sunday evening, the governors and their spouses will join President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle at the White House. The event wraps up Monday with meetings with the president and vice president.
