School Administrative District 11 will register students for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten for the 2014-15 school year.
To enter the Pre-Kindergarten Four Year Old Program, children must be 4 years old on or before Oct. 15, and must not turn 5 before Sept. 1. Space is limited.
Kindergarten screenings are scheduled for:
⢠Thursday, May 1, at Helen Thompson School in West Gardiner; 724-3930.
⢠Friday, May 2, at Laura E. Richards School in Gardiner; 582-3612.
⢠Tuesday, May 6, at Pittston Consolidated School in Pittston; 582-6268.
⢠Wednesday, May 7, at Teresa C. Hamlin School in Randolph; 582-4252.
For kindergarten, parents will need their child’s original birth certificate, immunization records, and a completed registration packet. Children must be 5 years old on or by Oct. 15 to be eligible.
Parents are encouraged to call their local school for more information or to schedule a screening.
