BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Freshman Nicholas LaGross was recently recognized for his academic performance during the fall 2013 semester at the University of Bridgeport. LaGross, a biology major, has earned a place on the University’s president’s list. He is the son of Lisa and Jeff LaGross, of Palmyra. His grandparents are Arthur and Jeannie LaGross, of Skowhegan; and Aaron and Debbie Newal, of Palmyra. He is the great-grandson of Glorida Verhey, of Palmyra.
