Members of the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office dive team trained on Tuesday in the pool at the Alfond Youth Center in Waterville.
Six divers from the sheriff’s office took part in the three-hour training session to work on basic diving skills and diver assistance drills for equipment malfunction.
The aim of the training is to maintain an at-the-ready rescue team and recovery unit.
