The governor should honor the voters who elected him and stay the course by not releasing any spending bonds until the raided rainy day fund is restored. Maine cannot afford another credit rating decrease after the governor was successful in raising it.
Raise the minimum wage to $10.10 per hour from $7.25 per hour? The question should be: “What right does the federal government have to force âwe the people’ to pay our employees a higher minimum wage?”
We need to go back to a real free market society and watch competition raise employees’ pay.
