The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman suspected of stealing a backpack containing an iPhone, clothing and ski boots.
On March 29, Deputy Sandy Burke investigated the reported theft from the base lodge at Saddleback Mountain in Rangeley. The woman pictured in security camera footage is suspected by police of taking a backpack containing the belongings, according to a news release from Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols.
Police asked that anyone who could identify the woman call 778-2680 and ask for Lt. David St. Laurent, or leave an anonymous tip by sending a text message to 274637 and including the word “franktip” in the body of the text. Anonymous tips also can be left at the department website franklincounty-me.org.
