AUGUSTA — The United Way of Kennebec Valley is sponsoring a spring electronic waste collection drive Saturday in the parking lot of the Augusta Civic Center.
The collection will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the lower parking lot, and contributions are accepted in place of a disposal fee.
Contributions benefit the Augusta Community Warming Center. Items accepted include computers, monitors, fax machines, televisions, copiers, printers, cellphones, DVD and CD players, computer processing units, TVs and household batteries.
The United Way of Kennebec Valley generally sponsors a similar collection twice a year.
