DOVER, N.H. — A former New Hampshire high school math teacher who was accused of kissing a 15-year-old female student has been sentenced to 30 days in jail.
Paul Blanc of Milton pleaded guilty to three counts of misdemeanor simple assault on Wednesday in Dover District Court.
Foster’s Daily Democrat reports the 41-year-old Blanc was accused of hugging the student and kissing her neck and hand in January at Somersworth High School. Blanc, a math teacher, resigned a few days later and was charged in February.
He was sentenced to 12 months, with all but one month suspended. He’ll be on probation for two years after his release.
