BRUNSWICK — Bowdoin College held its annual Honors Day ceremony May 7, recognizing students for their academic achievements.
The following area students were recognized:
Adam Childs, of South China, majoring in chemistry and physics, was awarded the ACS Maine Award.
Bridget Connolly, of Pittsfield, majoring in English and minoring in teaching, was awarded the Bowdoin Teacher Scholars.
Lauren Hallenbeck, of Waterville, with an undeclared major was awarded the Edgar Oakes Achorn Prize.
